I love Almond milk! I know you can easily buy it from a store, but trust me it taste 100% better when you make it from scratch. Â This is such a simple recipe and it will last about 3-4 days in fridge you can drink it on it’s own or use it in smoothies. This recipe will make about 50oz or so. I like to store it in a mason jar, and put a label with a date on it.
You will need- Raw almonds, dates, vanilla bean or vanilla extract, cinnamon, a nut milk bag ( you can purchase one from any health food store, or order it online) and you’ll also need a very strong blender like Vita Mix.
First, you will add 1 cup of almonds to bowl and fill with water until almonds are covered. You will leave them to soak over night, at least 8 hours.  Then drain almonds and put into blender, add 2 cups filtered water, 1 vanilla bean or a few drops of vanilla extract, and 2 dates (pitted) and a little cinnamon. Just a tip, you can always add more vanilla, dates, or cinnamon after you have blended everything together, just depends on how sweet you like it.  After you blend well, then grab your nut milk bag and a big clean empty bowl, your will pour the milk into the bag over the bowl and drain it through the bag. It’s like milking a cow 🙂  Pour into your jar and enjoy!
